Technology

North Valley Collection Bureau (NVCB) operates on the DAKCS computer system, the premiere developer of software in the collection industry. The software known as The Sting, is currently assisting hundreds of collection agencies and Fortune 500 corporations in recovering millions annually.

The Sting

The Sting recovery database incorporates several highly automated subsystems. These include First Alert for mail room outsourcing: The Locator for skiptracing and directory assistance. Also, a powerful credit bureau inquiry module allows us to report to major credit reporting entities. This strategy allows us to work a higher number of accounts and locate people and money which you had previously thought lost.

Skip Tracing

Debtors are human. Many need prompting to pay their bills. If a debtor moves on, leaving you with no means to contact him/her, the urgency to pay will probably begin to vanish. Our "people finding" technology restores contact with lost debtors.

First Alert

Using First Alert we are able to tap into the U.S. Postal Service National Change of Address database. It finds corrected address information before the message is sent. Thus, virtually eliminating returned mail. Rapid notification tells the debtor that we are aware of his/her every move.

The Locator

As the trail cools The Locator casts an electronic net for clues. It relies upon a database from a variety of sources including national white page listings. First, The Locator attempts to correct address and phone information. Second, it sweeps the area for possible relatives. Finally, it updates the account in our system with corrected information.

Reports

Debtor Status Report
Supplies an alphabetical listing of assigned accounts. This report includes the current status of accounts, current balance, client account numbers, last payment date and assigned date.

Client Analysis Report
Supplies month to date, year to date and overall figures on placement, collections, average amount listed, commissions and percentage performance.

Five Year Activity and Actuary Report
Two of our most powerful reports: Activity Report supplies monthly reporting of the previous five year's placements, collections, cancellations and commissions, along with the overall percentage collected. Actuary Report supplies the same information as the Activity Report, but isolates each month's assigned accounts and recoveries for that month.

Trust Report
This report accompanies each trust check for the current period. Formatted alphabetically, it discloses all details of payments received during the trust period including amounts, dates, previous and new balance information and commissions earned. This trust report can be prepared weekly, semi-weekly, or monthly at clients request.

Other Reports
